By definition, a photographer is someone who takes pictures. Going by this description, everyone is a photographer in a sense because we are constantly taking pictures of our families (Darwin Family Photographer), our new borns (Darwin Newborn Photography), and everything in general (Darwin Photographers). So naturally, this term has been expanded to professional photographer and not only includes individuals that have specific technical knowledge about taking photos. These people know some things that the rest of us don't know, and that's why they can charge us to take pictures that we can take ourselves for free.
